Toy Library

Thank god for Toy Library.  It's been such a sanity saver this past year.   A lovely group of mums, kids and volunteers.  I'm sure I enjoy it as much as Emir does!

Rafi chillin' out in one of the bean bags.

This huge 'Whoopie Pie' cost $1.  Emir likes to guess which table number Colin will give us.  Today he scored the jackpot - "number one, like Thomas!!"

The dinosaurs are hurt :(

T-Rex and his buddies went for a walk along the top of the nesting-cups.  Everything was going well until they got to number 10 - then they all decided to jump!

"What's wrong Apatosaurus?  You OK?  No. Your foot is sore."

"Doctor Jane will help.  Here is some medicine".
(Emir's new doctor is Dr Jane - he has a bit of a crush on her!)

"Can I put one of those dinosaurs in my mouth?"

Wahroonga xx

Wahroonga is so pretty in autumn.  It's the one time of year we don't miss living near the beach!

A circle train!  See the circle??

Playing on the 'James' train.

  Lots of crunchy leaves.

Rafi was as snug as a bug in his sleeping bag.

I'm a big boy!  I'm on the swing!

This is how you do it Rafi!

Trainspotting.  Very disappointing - we only saw a 'slow train'.

Emir made an autumn-leaf collage at Turra Tots today, so I thought I'd take the boys to have a look at the real thing.  There aren't too many leaves on the trees anymore, but plenty to play with on the ground!  Of course, it wouldn't be a walk to Wahroonga Park without stopping to check out the trains.

Millions of kisses

This morning we had little cousin Eadie's first birthday party.  More cake!  More chippies!  The healthiest thing Emir has eaten this weekend is a piece of bread.

After the party, we went to Ma and Pa's house. What a lucky boy Emir is!  Ma and Pa gave him a 'Lightning McQueen' and 'Finn McMissile' (the meanie one) from the movie Cars.  Mummy was more excited about the new shirts for the boys!  Shell, Kayla and Niki stopped by for a visit too.  Emir just loves playing with his 'big girls'.

Can't believe how grown up our Kayla is.  She is so lovely with her little cousins.

Look everyone - I'm getting teeth.  Really I am.

"What do you Wannabee?"

hmmm.. Elton John?  Thanks mum. This won't affect me one bit.

We went a great new Play Centre in Frenchs Forest called Wannabees yesterday. Emir had fun with his friends Zak, Ziggy and Harri. They enjoyed playing in a pretend play-town with shops and a Fire Station. Emir's favourite was the little treadmill in the gym. All the kids were invited to join in the fashion parade, where they got to dress up as whoever they Wannabee.

Sara's 4th birthday - Rainbow Party!

We celebrated Sara's 4th birthday today with rainbows, cake, fun and games!

Our little rainbow boy.

'Musical Squares'.  Emir won a second place ribbon in the 'Pin the Cloud on the Rainbow' game.

 Birthday girl xx

 Something was pretty funny!

 Not sure who's more nervous.

The other star of the day.

 Mmm-mmmm, even better than chocolate.

 Thanks Mum!

 Mummy's little rainbows.

Rafi thought the rainbow tiara was pretty.

Happy birthday Sara!  We had lots of fun celebrating with you today. It was great seeing so many little rainbows on such a cold, windy day.  The rainbow cake was sensational - well done Lorrie!

Bumpy Road

Emir can't wait to visit family and friends on the Northern Beaches (cause he loves them all, of course), but also, this means a drive on Morgan Road aka 'Bumpy Road' in Belrose.  Emir plays bumpy road with his toy cars at home (they bump, bump, bump, along the carpet) and also loves to paint bumpy road at Turra Tots...
